Oldest Holocaust survivor, Alice Herz-Sommer, dies at 110 in London

Alice Herz-Sommer 2The world’s oldest Holocaust survivor, Alice Herz-Sommer, died Sunday at the age 110 in London. Herz-Sommer, a pianist, born in Prague, was the subject of the documentary “Terezin – Refuge in Music”, ICMA Award Winner 2014 by Dorothee Binding & Benedict Mirow.

Filming Alice Herz-Sommer talking with Daniel Hope in London was on of the most touching, but also inspiring moments of the production. Thank you for your wonderful words, dear Alice! Rest in Peace!
